Basic Personality: Reno's very professional when it comes to his work. But even thought he does it to the best of his abilities, work is only work, nothing personal in it. Business is business and fun is fun, and Reno surely knows how to have fun too. He's outgoing and likes to spend his sparetime partying and getting drunk.
Reno's biggest weaknesses are that he's impulsive, easily angered and doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut. He prefers to keep to himself and finds it difficult to trust people. On the better side however, he is honest and highly loyal to those he's deemed worthy of it.
Background: Reno found himself in the slums of Neisenma at the age of 18, not remembering who he was or where he was from. Living in the slums of Midgar he was determined to work his way out of the there, no matter what it would take.
He picked up dirty tricks as he tried to survive, one day realizing that his knowledge of the way gangs and criminals operated would be his ticket out of there. He started to make a living as a self-educated private detective and finally made it possible for himself to move to the middle level of Midgar. He still spend alot of time in the slums, though, party because of his job, party because no matter what, that's where he'd from.Not to mention he likes the bars there.
Later when given a chance started to work for Shinra, now living on the top level of Midgar.
